One with One with Anders Åstrand
On June 26th, 2020 we premiered Lessons with Anders Åstrand, Vic Firth Signature Mallet Artist. We dove into discussions with Swedish percussionist, composer and artistic creator Anders Astrand. We explored Anders’ creative process and how it has led him to a series of highly innovative percussion pieces, imaginative recordings and ingenious videos. The interview also included Anders’ approach to learning scales, his instrument creations and his approach to improvisation.

As a performer and clinician, Vic Firth artist Anders Åstrand has shared his unique sense of melodic and rhythmic exploration with audiences around the globe.
