ABOUT THE PIECE
Paul Smadbeck’s Etude No. 2 will help you develop your one handed roll skills. The etude starts out with a undulating permutation that will prepare your hands for a beautifully orchestrated independent roll passage that bleeds into material similar to the opening. This etude is musically and technically challenging.
